About our Activities: Manufacturing, research and development, innovations, inventions and new technologies in the fields of building systems, sealants, waterproofing polymeric membranes, concepts, systems and materials -  including thermoplastic, thermoset and bituminous roofing membranes made of various materials, such as  Polyolefin (TPO)  PVC, bitumen, Polyethylene, Olefins,   Polypropylene,  EPDM, Polyurethane. It also includes other sealing materials (repellents) containing sprayable polymeric emulsions, liquid sealants/sealers sprayed by airless spraying machine,  such as: bituminous and modified bitumen. YSM developed  insulation systems - concepts and materials.

The new YSM's membranes include a stress reducing mechanism, which prevents stresses around cracks, fissures and expansion joints, from tearing (or shortening the life span) of a fully adhered membrane. This mechanism also prevents the typical flooding under the free floating membrane in case of any tiny tear. These innovative membranes provide all the appropriate properties of the conventional sealing / roofing membrane e.g., aging resistance, high UV resistance, wind up-lift (elevation forces) resistance.

YSM holds the rights for the Domecrete advanced building system (Heifetz system) by being the inventor, the developer and the world licensor. (Invented by Haim Heifetz, and by Raphael Heifetz - YSM's CEO). Domecrete is a building system for constructing building on site, using inflatable forms.

The Domecrete building system offers a top competitive achievement in cost-effectiveness for constructing on site high quality constructions.

YSM developed modifications in the design and manufacturing process of pneumatic (inflatable) forms (moulds) to offer a larger selection of domes and curved structures and sophisticated curved constructions. Another progress was made by developing modified concrete and mortars, including lightweight concrete, thermal insulation (isolation) concrete and materials having an improved workability to provide a better behavior of the concrete shell of Domecrete structures. A progress was achieved by reduction of shrinkage and expansion stresses, caused by thermal and constructive physical activities of the construction.

The tough requirements demanded of  the Domecrete curved strong structures were to provide better sealing solutions for the earthquake resistant structures. The fact that many projects were built in harsh climates, triggered the company to enlarge the R&D in order to provide concepts and materials with better sealing properties.

The YSM  team is proud of its achievements regarding the revolutionary SRM membranes (patent pending). Raphael Heifetz, the inventor (YSM's CEO) led the development personally together with 4 Israeli plants for polymeric membranes. The new system will provide the manufacturer with the opportunity to offer   waterproofing membranes, with a revolutionary improved bridging ability and   single-ply membranes with more consumer and manufacturer reliable warranty.

The new sheets are designed to seal all types of substrate, especially: roofs, subterranean walls, subterranean elements, sealing of foundations, sealing of tanks and containers, cells, piping and various applications in civil engineering,  e.g. sealing: cabins, containers, pipes, aircrafts, fuel tanks, reservoirs, etc. and preventing transmission of fluid under pressure from inside - outside and vice versa as a result of cracks in the construction.

Another important  progress achieved by YSM regarding improvement of energy saving during the process of tire manufacturing that presents a tire with an improved aging resistance properties. (patented).
